Mochi Genie in about a minute

A real recording of the Mac app, not an animation made for marketing. Watch Mochi arrive from the menu bar, react when you pet him, hold up a water bottle at break time, change capes and check in kindly when you've been in an app longer than you meant.

What you're seeing

  1. 0:00 Meet Mochi. A tiny flying genie that lives on your Mac desktop, in a transparent window over your work. Your clicks and typing go straight through to your apps.
  2. 0:05 Summon him from the menu bar. The menu-bar icon summons or hides Mochi, pauses reminders, starts a session timer or sets an intention.
  3. 0:15 His eyes follow you. Move the pointer and Mochi watches it. Stroke his head and he blushes.
  4. 0:20 A water break. "Hey! Time for some water." Mochi lifts his bottle and drinks with you. Choose Done (he cheers), Snooze 10 min or Skip. Stretch, eye-rest, posture, walk and break reminders work the same way.
  5. 0:35 Seven capes. Red, blue, lavender, pink, green, midnight and gold. Change it any time in Settings.
  6. 0:45 Little hellos, now and then. A yawn, a wave or a twirl when you're not busy. You can make Mochi calmer or livelier.
  7. 0:55 Gentle check-ins, only for apps you choose. "YouTube · 37 min. Want to head back to your work?" Options: Back to your work, Keep watching, or Later. Time awareness is off until you turn it on, and it only notes which app is in front, never what's inside it.
  8. 1:03 Pricing. Try everything free for 7 days with no card or account, then $12.99 once for 2 Macs, with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
